this is why i love joann fabrics (and their clearance section)

there i was at joannes, looking for some cool fabric for my next project (stay tuned for that one-it is gonna rock!) and i found these!
yes, i always walk thru the clearance isle because im like that. you never know what you might find.
what will i do with these flattened marbles? that i havent decided yet. but for a quarter, i WILL find something!

I know! Whenever I see them at a reasonable price at garage sales I have to pick them up. Full price they are so expensive and thrift stores even have them marked up!

I have to be very careful in that store! Between their holiday stuff and the scrapbook section, I lose control!

Oh crap a quarter! i just bought some for full price! I always forget the isle in the back....Not anymore!

OH yippee!!! I have put those on a wreath form -- they spray painted them lightly with white. I loved it!
Just this weekend I took a few spray painted them black. Added a few white polka dots. Adhered a magnet to the back. Magnets for my daughter's room!! If the clear ones are flat on the back -- you can modge podge an image to them -- it will be seen through the top -- then use them as magnets. You might be able to tell -- these things are awesome!!
