that is really cute. I hope you figure it out so that I can make one too.
I bought one just like this at Safeway a couple of years ago for $15! I love it. I also found a garland with pastel Easter Eggs and green leaves that I hang over the dining room door.
I saw those little eggs at JoAnne fabric the other day and just walked past them. Now, I think I will be grabbing a bag or two. Thanks for the idea!
ADORABLE!! adding it to my to-do list :)
I used to work at PBK and the mark up on their stuff was absolutely ridiculous! Even with my 40% discount, I'd still wait for things to go on sale before I'd even think of buying something.
Get a foam cone, then pin/glue moss to it. Then, use the mini plastic easter eggs, paint them how you want them, and attach with glue.
From there, set the cone in a terra cotta pot, painted the color you want!
I got one of these from Pier 1 a few years ago. The eggs are somehow pinned into the styrofoam cone. I know this because my boys are experts at removing the eggs. Makes me upset. Every. Single. Year.
I don't get it out anymore. :(
