i got a frame (that i forgot to take a photo of before i got a can of spray paint to it!) that was 7.5x13.5. i painted it white (this might change. you will see at the end of the post). i took the glass and matt out. the glass got chucked but i liked the matt so i covered up the lovely picture with some card stock.
(i know-it is a sin that i covered this up!)
since i will had a bad experience with gorilla glue, i used good old hot glue. yup-i go old school!
it might be hard to see but i filled up the inside of the beer cap with a TON of hot glue (yes i went thru many sticks!) and slapped it right onto the card stock, leaving the matt as a matt.
but i think it is kinda cool!
and now that i know that bottcaps can be used this way, wait until you see what i have lined up for next week! (thankfully my little brother NEVER CHECKS THIS BLOG because it is a gift for him!)

I really like this. So simple and yet very lovely.
This is a great idea (I saw in on Shabby Chic Cottage). I am going to start saving my bottlecaps now!
Great job! Your blog is so cute with lots of fun ideas here! I'm a follower ...coming from Sassy Sites. :)
BA,
So talented...you are forever thinking outside the box! Inspiration galore.
By the way eat something you are looking a bit on the thin side (I noticed you because I was behind you in Jazz). Ok, thin is in but I am concerned.
Heart you,
Barb
It looks fabulous! I love it. Now I need bottle caps. But how do you get them off without bending them up?
Very cute, that an ok word when it's for a boy? Keep the frame white, makes for a cleaner look and I think it causes the caps to pop more that way. (just my worthless 2 cents) Reminds me of a tic-tac-toe game...another project to be displayed????
That is cool~and I like it the way it is.
CUTE!
What a pretty effect! I don't think I've seen bottle caps used this way before - I love it. So crisp-looking but playful!
