yes, i have a problem...

Monday, April 12, 2010 |

my oldest recently told me that i have a sphear obession.
he is right...
here is the latest sphear project ball craft.
sorry-i just like the word balls.
first, there are some cute cute ball projects out there. i just coulndt find where i have been saving them on my computer.
the hardest thing about this craft was keeping the balls from rolling all over the yard and getting covered with grass. you wouldnt think that sticking balls in an egg carton would be such a brillant idea, one to blog about.
but for me it is...
anways, i had these wooden balls laying around from some forgotten craft. i painted them white, but didnt love it. so out came the blue ocean breeze spray paint.
i roughed them up a bit then used some old number stickers, and used 2 or 3 per ball. that way if it rolled, you could still see a number.
it is just one big game to make me happy, you know.
im havent decided if they are going to continue to hang out with jerry and the gang here or if they will get a new home.

do you have a balls post youd like to share? leave a comment or email me at thethriftyba@yahoo.com i might just have to do a whole balls post.
(let's hope that my overuse of the word 'balls' doesnt catch the eye of people looking for more adult content. im about as far away from adult as possible.)Photobucket

I'm impressed that your oldest son spouted the words "sphere obsession"!! Smart kid, that one. But I think I'll keep photos of our family balls off the internet. I'm just sayin'
