my little rockstar...

Thursday, May 20, 2010 |

nate loves to think of himself as a rockstar.
i have to blame mallory in his kindergarten class. she told her mom she thought he was one, then her mom let me know, then i repeated it chris and nate overheard me.
it has been terrible living with him ever since.
i made him one rockstar tshirt from some iron on letters i won here. he digs that shirt and wears it as much as possible. then i saw one on aly & ash, but it was more for a toddler-sized kid. (mostly because her cute little boy is that age).
well, check out her post here. it has a template and everything!
i copied the template as an image, then cropped and enlarged it so it fit a a regular sheet of paper. it made it bigger on my big boys shirt.
nate picked out the fabric for the guitar and the shirt (he called it hot rod red. we have been watching iron man and (if you remember) tony wanted some hot rod red on his iron man suit.)
so now he has 2 rockstar shirts.
and one big attitude to go with them!

ok-im going back to the party tomorrow!
get ready to post anything that you have been doing or thinking about doing this week!

Very cute! I love the fact that this is a boy idea! I have a 3 year old girl and there are always fun girl ideas in blogland...but my 3 month old boy would soon be left out of reaping my crafting rewards...so happy to see some cute boy ideas!

Thanks so much for linking up! Hope to see you next week!
